About the role:

We’re currently looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Video Editor to take ownership of our video content production for both the CEO’s personal brand and Tavex’s main brand. From long-form expert YouTube videos to short-form social media reels, your work will play a key role in how our brand is perceived and how our content performs.

This isn’t an “old school” post-production job. We’re looking for a modern, tool-savvy editor who leverages AI, automations, and smart workflows to produce more — faster and better. You’ll collaborate closely with our young and ambitious team of marketers to bring our ideas to life in video form.

What You’ll Own:

• Edit high-quality, long-form YouTube videos for our CEO’s personal brand, ensuring they’re engaging, on-brand, and optimized for viewer retention;
• Produce and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn, Stories) by repurposing existing video assets and raw footage;
• Collaborate with the team’s Marketing Managers on creative concepts, visual storytelling, and thumbnail design ideas;
• Edit and format videos from the CEO’s appearances in podcast, interviews, conferences and others for distribution on our channels;
• Work with the Tavex marketing team to produce video content for product promotions, event coverage, brand campaigns, and social media;
• Identify and implement smart tools, AI-based editors, and workflows to streamline video production and increase output;
• Stay up to date with platform trends, popular video formats, and editing techniques to keep our content sharp and modern.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience of at least 2 years in video editing for YouTube, social media, and branded content;
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both long-form and short-form video editing expertise;
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar);
• Experience using modern video tools, AI editors (like Descript, Runway, or CapCut), and content repurposing platforms;
• Good understanding of YouTube best practices, retention-focused editing, and social media video trends;
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Team player with strong collaboration skills;
• Fluent in English and Bulgarian.

Nice to have:
• Basic knowledge or interest in Investments, Economy, and Finance;
• Experience in motion graphics and thumbnail design.

The position is based in our office, located in Sofia, and is permanent full-time employment. Up to 30% of your monthly work time could be done remotely after the training period.
